S.R.O. 833(I)/81.- In exercise of the powers conferred
by section 36 of the Drugs Act, 1976 (XXXI of 1976), the Federal Government is pleased to
exempt the drug namely Coughsol Syrup, each 5ml containing:-
| Ethyl Morphine Hydrochloride |
1.45mg. |
| Potassium Guiacolsulfonate |
102mg. |
| Ephedrine Hydrochloride |
16mg. |
| Terpine Hydrate |
5.70mg. |
manufactured by M/s. Opal Laboratories Ltd., Karachi from the
operation of the provisions of sub-clause (vii) of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of
section 23 of the said Act subject to the condition that the exemption granted by this
noification shall be valid in respect of sale of the aforesaid drug till the 31st day of
December, 1981.
