S.R.O. 330(I)/95.- In exercise of the powers conferred
by section 36 of the Drugs Act, 1976 (XXXI of 1976), the Federal Government, being of the
opinion that the public interest so requires, is pleased to exempt any drug to be imported
as donation by any agency in Pakistan from the provisions of sub-clause (vii) of clause
(a) of sub-section (1) of section 23 of the said Act, for a period of five years with
effect from the 15th April, 1995, subject to the following conditions, namely:-
(I) the drug does not contain any narcotic or psychotropic ingredient;
(ii) the drug is allowed to be sold freely in the country of its origin;
(iii) the drug has minimum of six months expiry period; and
(iv) the drug shall not be sold, in any form, in the market in Pakistan.
