S.R.O. 146(I)/99.-- In exercise of powers conferred by section 36 of the Drugs, Act, 1976 (XXXI of 1976), the Federal Government, being of the opinion that the public interest so requires, is pleased to exempt, for a period of 6 months commencing from the 23rd December, 1998, the following drugs from the operation of the provisions of section 6 and all related provisions in respect of the sale of drugs of the said Act, namely:--

(i) Disposable syringes; and
(ii) disposable sets for collection or transfusion of blood or giving any infusion.
