S.R.O. 1124(I)/84.- In exercise of the powers conferred
by section 36 of the Drugs Act, 1976 (XXXI of 1976), the Federal Government being of the
opinion that the public interest so requires, is pleased to exempt the drugs to be
imported as donation by any agency in Pakistan from the provisions of sub-clause (vii) of
clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 23 of the said Act for the period of five years
subject to the conditions that they:
(i) do not contain any narcotic or psychotropic ingredient;
(ii) are freely allowed to be sold in the country of origin;
(iii) have minimum of six months expiry period;
(iv) are not sold in any form in the market.
