No. F. 31(1)/87-AII.- In exercise of the powers
conferred by section 31 of the Drugs Act, 1976 (XXXI of 1976), and in supersession of this
Division’s Notification No. F. 31 (1)/87-AII, dated the
23rd June, 1988, the Federal Government is pleased to appoint Syed Saeed Ashhad, Special
Judge (Customs, Taxation and Anti-smuggling), Karachi, to be the Chairman, Drug Court,
Karachi, established by this Division’s Notification No. F.
40(1)/76-AI, dated the 7th April, 1979, with immediate effect, and to direct that the
following amendment shall be made in the aforesaid Notification, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, for paragraph 1 the following shall be substituted,
namely:-
"1. Syed Saeed Ashhad Special judge (Customs, Taxation and Anti-smuggling), Karachi,
who shall be the Chairman of the Drug Court, Karachi."
