S.R.O. 1038(I)/76.- In exercise of the powers conferred
by section 36 of the Drugs Act, 1976 (XXXI of 1976), the Federal Government being of
opinion that the public interest so requires, is pleased to exempt "water for
injection B.P.", manufactured by M/s. Shifa Laboratories, Link Mcleod Road, Lahore,
from the provisions of sub-clause (vii) of clause (a) and clause (b) of sub-section (1) of
section 23 of the said Act, subject to the condition that they shall manufacture only that
drug and shall comply with the conditions of the licence and of registration under rules
19 and 30 of the Drugs (Licensing, Registering and Advertising) Rules, 1976.
2. The exemption granted under this notification shall remain valid for a period of six
months.
