Section 87 substituted by the Banking and Financial Services (Amendment of Laws) Ordinance (LVII of 1984), S. 7 Section 87 reads:
""notwithstanding
anything contained in section 86 a company may, if so authorised by the articles and a
special resolution, have convertible debentures entitling; he holders to exercise option
to convert a part thereof, not exceeding twenty-five per cent, into ordinary shares in the
manner provided in the contract for issue of debentures".
